2017 Alberta Provincial Sailing Championships
The Edmonton Yacht Club is hosting the above event September 1st - September 4th, 2017. The event starts Friday evening with registration and a wine and cheese party. Racing takes place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Impact on the village could be overflow parking along the lake road adjacent to EYC, more boats on the beach and competitors tenting at and bringing RV's to EYC. At this point we do not know the number of competitors and volunteers who will attend from other areas of the province. Based on races held so far this year we could have 30 plus volunteers and other attendees at our social events Saturday and Sunday evenings. There could be an extra 100 - 120 people at the club. 95% of the boats will be dinghies, so no large boat trailers looking for parking etc. Seba residents are welcome to drop by and participate in social activities, and we appreciate your understanding for any inconvenience caused by the additional parking, etc.
Thanks to everyone that contributed to making Regatta 2017 a huge success!!
